My experience with Fancy Cakes was exceptional; I have nothing but good things to say about the team and the cake. Everyone at the party (including little Susanna) loved the design.. it was perfect and exactly what we wanted. And the taste.. wow. Our cake was fluffy, light, delicious, sweet but not too sweet, rich, but not too rich, and had everyone saying “mmm” (again, including little Susanna!) I’ve had Fancy cake at several birthday parties, and it’s consistently fantastic. Beautifully decorated, moist, and flavorful with a perfect balance of sweetness and smooth frosting. I was super surprised how the cake look like when i saw it because it look very similar to the sample pic i sent! I super love the outcome! And the taste was 100% super goood!!! My first time ordering from Fancy Cakes went smoothly and perfectly, all expectations met and exceeded. My request to them was for a custom cake with a possum topper (inside joke between me and the recipient) -- after filling out the initial order form, Max from Fancy Cakes responded promptly with a quote and some additional questions, and remained responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. Payment was easy and convenient, as they accepted e-Transfer. I'd ordered delivery to downtown Ottawa for a small fee as well, and everything went as arranged and the cake arrived right on time. It looked just like I'd requested, and tasted amazing. Both the recipient and I were thrilled and very happy with this cake!
